  • A laser releases light in short pulses that are readily absorbed by the high concentration of melanin found within the skin discolouration of pigmented lesions, creating a more youthful and more even complexion.

    PicoSure combines patented PressureWave™ Technology with the use of three nominal wavelengths (532, 755 and 1064nm) alongside stringent certifications from the FDA and TGA to give you the confidence and ability to treat even the most complex tattoo indications.

  • Some people describe the feeling like a warm sensation or quick pinprick. Treatment may be mildly uncomfortable, but there may be anaesthesia or numbing used if required.

  • Typically less than 5% of subjects observe side effects however they can occur and include:

    Scarring, keloid formation and indentation of the tissue

    Postoperative erythema, edema, and pain

    Hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation

    Infection

    The same complications and risks that exist for conventional or traditional surgery also exist for laser surgery. These include, but are not limited to the following:

    Allergic reaction to medication

    Arrhythmia

    Pain

    Ulceration

    Fever

    Delayed healing

There is no downtime with PicoSure Focus™ facials. Patients may experience erythema that typically resolves within a few hours, but in some cases, may linger up to 24 hours.
