Scar & Stretch Mark Reduction
Scars and stretch marks can affect both the look and feel of your skin, but there are effective ways to reduce their visibility. Facial scarring often develops from acne, while stretch marks usually occur when the skin is stretched beyond its natural limits, such as growth spurts or pregnancy. Our microneedling treatments work by stimulating collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin, helping to fade both new and older scars, smooth stretch marks, and leave the skin looking firmer and more even in tone.
Reducing Scars & Stretch Marks
We can treat scarring using a few different options, from laser to needling. With RF needling, the super fine needles cause very minor injuries deep below the skin, and the Pico Pro laser uses a pressure wave to stimulate your fibroblasts. The body responds by creating collagen and elastin-rich tissue. This process helps to reduce scar tissue on the surface of your skin, which fades the appearance of scars or stretch marks and smoothes out any uneven texture or discolouration, with the bonus of making your skin feel tighter and firmer.
Number of treatments
Results can be seen after just one session. Between 3-6 treatments are recommended depending on the skin concern. Most patients see an improvement 4 weeks after the first session, with results continuing to improve up to 12 weeks after the final treatment.
