Number of treatments
This is dependant on the depth and ink type that has been used, we have had complete removal from as little as 2-5 sessions the average is 6-8 sometimes just two sessions with shading.
Level of Pain
Having a tattoo removed is not pain free, we do make this a more comfortable experience using the cryo cooling system to cool the skin prior to treating.
Course Duration
Treatments are a minimum of 8 weeks apart, to allow the skin to heal.

Vary from £50 up and dependant on size you will need a consultation and patch test prior to any treatment.
Consultation and test patch
Consultation and test patch is £50, this includes, treatment structure/plan, a small area will be treated to see how your skin responds to the laser, aftercare will be given, creams provided and you will need to keep your dressing on for 24 hours.

How does the Tattoo Removal treatment work?
Pure Skin uses the latest in laser technology. Pico Pro is able to remove all colours with fewer treatments. Large or small we can treat any size in a quick timeframe.
Throughout a treatment laser energy is delivered to the unwanted tattoo, targeting the ink and breaking it down into smaller particles. The tiny particles are then eliminated through the body’s natural processes, resulting in faster clearance with fewer treatments than traditional lasers.
What does it feel like and are there any side effects?
Most patients describe the sensation as similar to a warm pin prick or the flick of an elastic band. Whilst slightly uncomfortable, most people tolerate treatment well. We use a cryo cooling system that makes this more comfortable and some clients say its virtually pain free.
An instant whitening of the skin is seen after treatment, but this generally fades quickly. The area is likely to feel tender for a few hours and can be red and swollen for up to 48 hours. Some tattoos will form a graze/blister which must be left to heal naturally. Initially the tattoo is unlikely to look any different but will fade over the next 4 to 8 weeks as the body disperses it.
How many sessions will I need?
A series of treatments are typically recommended. Average is 5-8 sessions. The number of treatments needed is dependent on variables such as ink type, size of the tattoo, location on the body, lifestyle habits, etc. Work with your provider to come up with a plan that’s right for you!

Can the PicoPro remove all colours of tattoo ink?
Tattoo ink colours like yellow, light blues and greens have been more difficult to remove with traditional laser tattoo removal devices. However the PICO PRO advanced technology has the required light that will do the job quickly and relatively less painfully.
