XERF Non-Surgical Skin Tightening for the Face, Jawline and Neck

XERF Non-Surgical Skin Tightening for the Face, Jawline and Neck

The Future of Skin Tightening Has Arrived at Pure Skin: Meet XERF

Pure Skin is proud to be one of the first clinics in the UK to introduce XERF Structural Skin Tightening to Wiltshire.

We are incredibly excited to announce that XERF Structural Skin Tightening is coming to Pure Skin.

As one of the first clinics in the UK to offer this advanced treatment, we are bringing our clients a new generation of non-surgical skin tightening, designed to create firmer, smoother and more youthful-looking skin without needles or surgery and with minimal disruption to everyday life.

Whether you have noticed a loss of firmness, a softer jawline or changes around the cheeks, eyes or neck, XERF offers a personalised approach to radiofrequency skin tightening that works with the skin’s supporting structures and natural collagen-remodelling processes.

What is XERF Skin Tightening?

XERF is an advanced, non-invasive monopolar radiofrequency treatment developed by Cynosure Lutronic. It uses two radiofrequency energies — 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz — within one treatment platform to deliver controlled thermal energy through multiple tissue depths.

XERF is described by its manufacturer as the world’s first multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency treatment of its kind. By working at shallow, middle and deeper levels, the technology can be tailored to the treatment area and to your individual skin.

How Does XERF Work?

XERF delivers carefully controlled radiofrequency energy beneath the skin’s surface. The resulting heating is designed to create changes within existing collagen and support the natural process of collagen remodelling over time.

The aim is a gradual, natural-looking improvement in skin firmness, smoothness and definition, without changing the features that make you look like you.

The XERF system uses real-time feedback to monitor tissue response during treatment. With three depth settings and ten intensity levels, your practitioner can personalise your treatment according to your skin, concerns and the area being treated.

What Makes XERF Different?

Dual-Frequency Radiofrequency Technology

Unlike conventional monopolar radiofrequency systems that use a single frequency, XERF combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz radiofrequency energy. This allows your practitioner to work across multiple tissue depths as part of the same treatment.

A Treatment Designed Around You

Skin thickness, facial structure and treatment goals vary from person to person — and can even differ between areas of the same face. XERF’s adjustable depth and intensity settings allow us to create a carefully tailored treatment plan rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Comfort Without Needles

XERF combines Wave Fit™ pulse technology with Integrated Cryogen Delivery cooling. The surface of the skin is cooled while radiofrequency energy is delivered beneath it, helping to make treatment more comfortable. XERF does not use needles, and treatment is designed to be performed without the need for routine numbing cream.

Minimal Downtime

XERF is a non-invasive treatment, so most clients can return to their usual activities after their appointment. Temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity may occur, and your practitioner will explain what you can expect during your consultation.

Which Areas Can XERF Treat?

Depending on your individual suitability and concerns, XERF skin tightening may be used to improve the appearance of skin laxity and loss of firmness in areas including:

  • Full face
  • Jawline and lower face
  • Cheeks and mid-face
  • Eye and brow area
  • Neck
  • Selected areas of the body

XERF may be particularly appealing if you would like a firmer, smoother or more defined appearance but would prefer a non-surgical and non-injectable skin tightening treatment.

When Will I See XERF Results?

Some clients may notice an initial feeling of tightening following treatment. Further improvements can develop gradually as the skin’s collagen-remodelling response continues over the following weeks and months.

Every person’s skin is different, so results and the number of sessions recommended will vary. During your consultation, we will assess your skin, discuss your goals and explain the results you can realistically expect.

Is XERF Right for Me?

XERF may be suitable for a wide range of skin types and for clients who are beginning to notice facial skin laxity, loss of jawline definition or reduced firmness, as well as those who would like to maintain skin quality as part of a proactive aesthetic treatment plan.

As with every advanced aesthetic treatment at Pure Skin, your safety comes first. A full consultation will be completed before treatment to review your medical history, assess your skin and determine whether XERF is appropriate for you.

What is a Chemical Peel and How is it Done?

What is a Chemical Peel and How is it Done?

A chemical peel is a non-surgical procedure where a specially formulated chemical solution is applied to the skin. This solution causes the top layers of the skin to exfoliate and eventually peel off, making way for new, smoother skin to regenerate. The process is a controlled “wound” that stimulates skin renewal.
At Pureskin Clinic, your journey begins with a detailed consultation to determine which type of peel is best for you. We offer a range of peels to suit different skin types and concerns, including:
 * Superficial Peels: The gentlest option, these peels use a mild acid to exfoliate the outermost layer of your skin. They’re perfect for a quick refresh and to address issues like fine lines and dryness.
 * Medium Peels: This type of peel penetrates deeper to address more significant concerns such as moderate wrinkles, acne scarring, and sun damage.
 * Deep Peels: These powerful peels go deep into the skin layers to treat more severe conditions. They offer the most dramatic results but also require the longest recovery time.
The Procedure:
  •  Preparation: Your skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove all oils and impurities. Your eyes and hair are protected to ensure your comfort and safety.
  •  Application: The chemical solution is carefully and evenly applied to your skin, often with a cotton swab or brush. You may feel a slight tingling or warm sensation, which is a normal part of the process.
  •  Neutralization: After the appropriate time, a neutralizing solution is applied to halt the peeling process. Your skin may appear a bit red and feel warm.
  •  Post-Treatment Care: We’ll provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to help you soothe your skin and ensure a smooth recovery. Sun protection is crucial during this time.

The Benefits of a Chemical Peel

A chemical peel offers a wide range of benefits for your skin, making it a highly versatile treatment. Some of the most common advantages include:
 * Acne and Acne Scar Reduction: Peels can unclog pores, reduce existing acne lesions, and promote cell turnover to lessen the appearance of acne scars.
 * Reduced Fine Lines and Wrinkles: By removing the outer, damaged skin, a peel can smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, giving your skin a more youthful texture.
 * Improved Skin Tone and Texture: Chemical peels are excellent for fading discoloration from sun damage, age spots, and uneven pigmentation, leaving you with a more radiant and even complexion.
 * Stimulated Collagen Production: The peeling process encourages your skin to produce new collagen, a protein that keeps skin firm and elastic.
 * Minimized Pores: By clearing out debris and excess oil, a peel can make enlarged pores appear smaller.
At Pureskin Clinic, we’re dedicated to helping you achieve your skin goals with safe and effective treatments. Book a consultation with us today and discover how a professional chemical peel can help you reveal your most radiant skin.
